DAD vs KiDS day 4 – Adley & Niko control our day!! magic morning routine and surprising mom home

It has been a crazy morning. Adley and Niko Bear are both super hyper and we have been playing and wrestling all morning. We end up in Adley’s room in a pillow and rainbow stuffies battle, throwing these animals at each other. At one point, Adley literally falls from the sky and Niko Bear is playing hide n seek to surprise me!! Niko finds the skateboard that Adley hydro-dipped a long time ago and starts to try to do tricks on it. At first, he tries riding it like a dinosaur ( i don’t know what that means but i like the pretend play) and next i know it, he is riding the skateboard down the slide on Adley’s club house!!

Adley comes up with a great idea, that each of us are going to pick out our clothes for the day so that we can finally get out of our pajamas and go do things. Niko picks flower pants and a Spacestation Gaming shirt for Adley. Then Adley chooses a niko bear triceratops shirt for her little brother to wear. Then both kids pick out a super crazy outfit for me. I don’t want to go outside lol! After we get navey up from her nap, go to the backyard and jump on the trampoline (cause it’s a beautiful day), we all load into Jenny’s purple tesla and head to the craft store.

At the store we found some art supplies for Adley, a little plane for Niko to fly, and while we are walking around the store shopping, Adley finds some really big purple paper. She has the idea to make welcome home signs for Jenny. So we jump back in the telsa, and head to my moms house to eat dinner and visit while we wait for Jenny to come home.

Sadly the plane from Disneyland was delayed so Jenny didn’t make it home till after we did our bedtime routines. While I wait, I have a santa claus surprise for her when she gets here!
